Three cats decide to have a race across the river.
The English cat is named one two three.
The German cat is named eins zwei drei.
The French cat is named un deux trois.
So the three cats set out across the river.
The English cat reaches the shore first.
The German cat reaches the shore second.
But
The French cat is nowhere to be found.
Why?
